A major exhibition at Palazzo Reale and three "exhibition chapters" in three major Milanese museums, featuring a multidisciplinary program of initiatives for the city: Metafisica/Metafisiche is a project curated by Vincenzo Trione, which brings together the masters of Metaphysics with their international "heirs" and "students" of the 20th and 21st centuries. The project, promoted by the Ministry of Culture and the City of Milan, is produced by Palazzo Reale, Museo del Novecento, Grande Brera-Palazzo Citterio, and Gallerie d’Italia, with the publishing house Electa, and is part of the cultural program of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
The "Modernità e Melancholia" exhibition at Palazzo Reale features Nathalie Du Pasquier's imposing Emerald console table and Michael Graves's incredible Plaza dressing table. These two gems from the Memphis catalog contribute to the exploration of the relationship between design and Metaphysics.
