Beverly

Ettore Sottsass saw Beverly as an emblematic item, a sort of metaphorical time machine. The diagonal upright, seen from above, is a “virtual divider of styles” with the aim of separating design’s past from its present. To the right there is a contemporary chromium-plated coat rack, with a “useless” bright red light bulb, a playful touch.

Cabinet in wood covered with decorative laminate and wood veneer.
