Ironically skeptical about the form and idea of a table, the eclectic concept of Bombay by Nathalie Du Pasquier makes it a veritable anti-modern icon. Bombay is a reminder of India, visited in youth, suggested here by the rounded rings resembling the pillars of temples. As Du Pasquier says: "everything I see inspires my art".
