Sacher
Who knows why Matteo Thun chose the name Sacher, like the famous Viennese chocolate cake, for a corner cabinet whose curious form and colors remind us of a rocket on its way into space?
Sacher is a metaphysical cabin reaching upward, composed of three containers of different sizes: at the center, the larger panel opens like a door topped by a tympanum, through which to peer into the inner chamber through a porthole. Irony, spatial metaphor, Sacher never ceases to amaze with its mysterious form and a few touches of red.
