Tawaraya Ring 2×2
Tawaraya Ring is a home boxing ring. Masanori Umeda's intention was to create "a space that is also a piece of furniture," a ring "for intellectual combat." A metaphor for conversation, it showcases the Memphis battle to revolutionize design. Tawaraya Ring 2x2 is based on the 1981 original, but updated in size, featuring just two tatami mats at the base.
