Anchorage in silver-plated brass, shaped by the imagination of Peter Shire, makes a forceful, eccentric break with the classic form of the teapot. It relies on an apparently precarious balance of geometric forms, perched on slender “stilts”: a cone and a half sphere, in a composition where silver enters a dialogue with the well-gauged use of color and other materials.
