The stacking of contrasting materials marks the composition of the Bordeaux lamp designed by Nathalie Du Pasquier, who says she has always been interested in the “sculptural and fundamentally abstract aspect of compositions of objects”. The name Bordeaux refers to the birthplace of the French designer, the daughter of Jacqueline Du Pasquier, curator of the MAD (Musée des Arts Décoratifs et du Design of Bordeaux).
