Far from the usual forms of functionalist furniture, Holebid is a coffee table with the forceful presence of a monolith: as in a primordial construction, four vigorous “columns” support a thick top, on which to overlap another surface, like a ziggurat. The neutral base forms a contrast with the red top, embedded like a precious stone.
