Tartar has a massive, “primordial” presence. The playful attitude typical of the early Memphis years becomes more austere. Tartar, the console created by Ettore Sottsass, embodies the great designer’s distinctive style: his focus on assemblages of geometric forms, wild juxtaposed patterns, and an exhilarating mixture of luxurious and plastic materials.

Lacquered wooden bookcase, covered with decorative laminate and natural wood essence.
